An Taisce works hard to advocate for Ireland’s natural environment, protecting Ireland’s environmental heritage and safeguarding its future. Their Advocacy Unit is dedicated to addressing the climate and biodiversity crisis while promoting human health and wellbeing, promoting the creation of sustainable communities, and the protection of Ireland’s rich built heritage.
Areas of focus include: Planning & Policy, Cycling Advocacy, Climate Action, among others.
An Taisce’s Advocacy Unit is made up of technical staff, interns, volunteers and many local association members across Ireland who work on issues and projects affecting the environment.
